Join us at the library for the second in a four part series--Running Your Roots on Tuesday, June 25 at 6pm.
Part 2: Conducting an Oral History focuses on how to document family history in all aspects--taking it beyond just using genealogy sites.
The best way to learn family history is by talking with your family members about it! In this program, you will learn how to ask your relatives the best questions about their past--and how to conduct an interview with types of questions that motivates useful responses and information regarding your ancestors.
Please feel free to bring your own laptop, and documents (regarding family history) that you might have questions about.
This event is recommended for people ages 16 and older. Registration is required to participate. **You are not required to attend Part 1 in this series to participate.**
Questions? Please call the library at (417)532-2148.
