The Lebanon-Laclede County Route 66 Society greeted drivers and passengers of about 180 Porsches -- some from as far away as California and Manitoba --
that ended a competitive tour on Route 66 this afternoon at the Lebanon-Laclede County Library.
The tour was organized by the Porsche Club of America as part of its 63rd annual Porsche Parade.

Halloween at the Library!
The Heart of the Ozarks Chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America visits the Library on their 35th Annual Hillbilly Tour 2017.
September 5th was the Library's annual Myrtle McCracken Lillard Book Give-Away. The Friends of the Library held an Un-Birthday tea party and handed out Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass. This was the 10th anniversay of the Book Give-Away and makes 4,000 books to be shared with families!
2017 Solar Eclipse
On August 21, 2017, the Library closed for the Total Solar Eclipse of the Sun Event. KJEL Radio was here and did a live broadcast along with the STEM students from Boswell who presented a program.
We handed out 400 eclipse glasses!
Lots of people brought their lawn chairs and settled in for an afternoon of solar fun.
We captured what appears to be sunspots.
