Lebanon-Laclede County Library
Library Card Information
How do I get
a library card?
You will be asked for proof of your home
address and personal identification.
You may use your drivers license, passport,
or employment photo for
personal identification. Proof of your current home
address can be made
by providing, for example, recent mail sent to your home
address under
your name, your utility deposit, your rental contract, drivers
license, or
check book. Children 16 years old and younger must have their
parents
with them to sign the application form. There is no charge for the
card....it's free! But, if you lose your card, there is a $2.00 replacement fee.
What if I
can't find the book I want?
Ask the librarian. She may be able to find
it for you or get it from another
library through an Interlibrary Loan. If you
do borrow a book from another
library there is a $2.50 fee to cover postage
costs.
Is there a
bookdrop?
For 24-hr convenience in returning books
and other library
materials there is a book drop around the side and to the back
of the library building.
I don't know
how to use the library's card catalog!
The staff is available to show everyone how to use the CoolCat automated system,
and complete instructions are next to each computer.
How long may
I keep the items I checked out?
